Bruce Mitchell - New Earth GoddessThe music of Bruce Mitchell's "New Earth Goddess" is a wonderful mix of piano with a small choral section that melds with the music in a way that isn't usually heard. The album contains ten music tracks and each one is named after a different Goddess that come from a variety of cultures. The first track is Athena, and from there it runs the full gamut from the Egyptian Hathor to the Celtic Goddess Rhiannon.

The piano is executed flawlessly and the music is exceptionally beautiful. The music is excellent to listen to in both a ritual/meditation setting and for easy listening. The sound is very transportable, and can be listened to as a background listening experience without taking away from the inherent beauty at all. Each piece seems written especially for the Deity it is named for, and none of the pieces seem to miss the emotion the artist was trying to make us experience.

In closing, I would suggest that anybody who enjoys instrumentals (piano music, in particular) or for those who are looking for some beautiful music to meditate to purchase this CD. I can't imagine anyone being unhappy with this beautiful album. I can not say enough good things about this! It should be a staple in your music collection.
