There are 3 models of the iPod Touch -- 8GB, 32GB and 64GB

The last time I checked, the 8GB model was priced around US$200.
The iPod Touch works on any Wi-Fi network -- at home, many libraries, coffee shops, hotels, and so on.
Just download the free Shoutcast app from the iTunes "app store"
iTunes itself is a free download from the www.apple.com web site, and there are versions for the Mac and for the Windows PC.

I don't know if there is a version of iTunes for a Linux system. A Google search has a few hits, and it looks like a bit of a hack job to get iTunes working on Linux.
